THE
SITE
The cultural and gastronomic reputation of the "Périgord" is very rich.
It is the area of the truffles and of the " thousand castles", marked by
history.
The workshop is being held half an hour from the town of Périgueux,
between the peaceful valleys of "Vern" and "Lisle". Accomodations are in a
renovated, beautiful, old mansion dating back from the 17th century. The
estate contains a beautiful forest with trails. A swimming pool is at our
disposal.

THE
PROGRAM: LANDSCAPE AND LIFE DRAWING
In the morning, we work from the landscapes
In the afternoon : individual work or rest or walk around ...
From 5 pm to 7 pm life model drawing or painting.
Each day a particular theme is studied (light circulation, composition,
complementary colours...)
You can use any of the traditional techniques. A list of material
can be sent
to you.

The teacher is Patrick Fouilhoux, a professional painter
in Paris. In his studio in Paris,he mainly paints life figures
and portraits in watercolour or oil painting. He has been teaching
since 12 years at the “Atelier de la Villa Bastille”.
when travelling, he creates ink and watercolour travelbooks, many
of which have been published (
The last books about Sicily, Tunisia or Senegal have been published
by “Asa editions”).

PRICE
includes tuition and accommodation
Price : 390 euros for one workshop
Reservation fees: 190 euros (not refundable after 1-07)
2 beds per room.
Rooms are available at about 4:00 PM on the day of arrival, and
have to be left at 10:00 AM, day of departure.
Supplement of 95 euro / week for private room
Transport and meals are not included
Meals : 130 euros/ week
