The studio is located near “ Bastille “, in Paris, close to the picturesque “ Aligre “ market.
(metro stations : Bastille, Gare de Lyon, Ledru Rollin).
The classes are for adults (15 years +) of all levels.

 

 

 

 

 

There are 3 kinds of classes

1/ Life drawing


In this class, the emphasis is on drawing, though you can also paint.
The objective is to learn how to see : the essential elements of the pose,
the movement, the planes, the volumes, the space and foreshoretenings,
the flow of light, composition.

2/ Painting techniques

You can chose to learn or improve any chosen technique : watercolour, oils, acrylic,
gouache, pastels,...How to deal with colour harmony, values, composition, texture and
effects,...You can for example also learn how to stretch the watercolour paper,
prepare and prime your oilcanvases, use pigments, glues and mediums,...
3/ Sculpting in clay

Enjoy creating with your hands. But how to transform a ball of clay into a living sculpture ?
How to prepare clay before firing in the kiln ?
You can also work from lifemodels.
Clay is provided and firing is possible at the studio.

Prices
Termly commitments. In one term there are 12 weeks, and you can start whenever you like. If you miss any of your classes you can attend any others within the term.
1 class per week for one term ( 12 classes ) = 306 euros.
